The Practice
At Pain Care of San Diego patient satisfaction is our #1 priority. For this reason we all work together as a team and take the responsibility of making every visit at Pain Care pleasant and comfortable for the patient in every possible way. We are always available to answer all questions or concerns by telephone or e-mail. As a team we work closely with the physicians to insure that all questions or concerns are answered in a timely and accurate manner.
In addition, all staff are highly trained and experienced in working with all private insurances and workers compensation claims. For the patient convenience, we process all necessary pre-certifications and insurance verifications for treatment and medications.
We are a San Diego based, chiropractic family of doctors specializing in various forms of pain management and therapy.
Michael Moon, M.D.
Dr. Moon specializes in interventional spine procedures as well as acute and chronic pain management. He is a graduate of Loma Linda University where he completed medical school, residency and fellowship training. Dr. Moon is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as in Pain Management.
Dr. Moon is the founder and medical director of Pain Care of San Diego. His goal is to increase the public’s awareness of the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation throughout Southern California.
Alan Saluta, D.P.T.
Former Clinic Manager of Olympic Therapies, Dr. Saluta is a licensed Physical Therapist and a 1998 Graduate from the University of Southern California's (USC) Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program charter class. His clinical experiences include extensive inpatient and outpatient orthopedics, inpatient pulmonary rehabilitation following lung volume reduction surgery, and inpatient postoperative abdominal and gastric bypass surgery. Further work experience has included outpatient orthopedics and rehabilitation as well as acute inpatient rehabilitation at UCLA Medical Center.
Danny Song, D.C., P.T.A.
Dr. Song is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant and a Qualified Medical Examiner. He is also credential as a Diplomate through the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Song Graduated on the Dean's List from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. He specializes in chiropractic, physical rehabilitation, exercise physiology and nutritional counseling.
